Led by Dr Paul Richards this walk will begin at True’s Yard and finish at Bank House. The walk will help to support the True’s Yard Silver Jubilee Appeal. Places are limited to 25. The charge is £5 per person and the optional extra lunch at Bank House (£12.50 for two courses) must be booked via Dr Richards in advance.
After meeting at True’s Yard you will visit:
The magnificent St Nicholas’ Chapel (rebuilt in stone and brick between 1380 and 1420).
St George’s Guildhall (built in brick by Lynn’s merchant rulers around 1430).
The Custome House (dating to 1685 its classical perfection placed Lynn in the mainstream of fashionable design – providing a clear break with the medieval world).
The tour will finish at Bank House where there will be an optional lunch at 12:45. Two courses will be available for £12.50
