Older Person’s Open Day

At True’s Yard Fisherfolk Museum

Wednesday 5th February 2020

Over 60’s are encouraged to visit True’s Yard for FREE. They can explore the Museum, watch several short films made by Northender Arthur Paynter on the history of the North End and King’s Lynn. Plus enjoy complimentary refreshments in the Museums Georgian panelled traditional tearoom (a selection of tea/coffee and biscuits).

There will also be an historical object quiz and an opportunity to help identify some recently donated images to the Museum.

Visitors to this event can also view the Pat Midgley Research Centre and have the opportunity to contribute their own oral history or write memories of the local area into special memory books.

True’s Yard is located on the corner of North Street/St Ann’s Street and has wheelchair access throughout the majority of the ground floor.
