Over 60’s are encouraged to visit True’s Yard Fisherfolk Museum for free on 7th February 2024 10am-4pm. Last admission 3:30pm.

Visitors can explore the Museum, watch several short Local History films made by Northender Arthur Paynter and take part in a history quiz.

There is also a recently renovated Georgian tearoom with Fairtrade tea and coffee and cakes supplied by Smiths the Bakers. Particularly popular are the teacakes- a toasty treat to enjoy in chilly weather.

True’s Yard is located on the corner of North Street/St Ann’s Street and has wheelchair access throughout most of the museum. Carers will also be able to enter free of charge.
