GARDEN PARTY IN THE NORTH END

ON 14TH JULY FROM 6 TO 8PM @ £10 A TICKET

  • Resistance to the total demolition of the Old North End in the 1970s and 1980s saved True’s Yard and historic houses in Pilot Street- the High Street of Lynn’s ancient fishing quarter. Just escaping the bulldozer was Grampus House, a historic building now listed 2*, and therefore of more than local significance.
  • Canon Robert Fayers is hosting a garden party at Grampus House on 14th July to support the True’s Yard Silver Jubilee Appeal Fund. Tickets are now available from True’s Yard Fisherfolk Museum.
  • If you would like to enjoy a rare opportunity to become acquainted with one of Lynn’s little known Medieval Houses, please join us. There will be a short talk on the history of the 15th Century Grampus House.

True’s Yard is grateful to Canon Robert Fayers for opening to the public his historic home in the Old North End
