Summer Art Exhibition @ True's Yard Fisherfolk Museum

A new Art Exhibition is opening at the fisherfolk museum. After the success of the Maritime Art Exhibitions of 2021 and 2022 and the Portraits exhibition of 203, the trustees decided to hold a fourth at the Community Museum located on the corner of North Street and St Ann’s Street.

The theme this year is different: Nostalgia…King’s Lynn Through Time.  This will celebrate brand new works by the Artist Alan Castleton. In Alan’s own words

“This project was a personal challenge to take old and familiar black and white photos of King’s Lynn and render them in colour to give a new look to familiar scenes. I had posted some of the first examples on social media and was astonished by the feedback I received. It seemed logical to offer the Museum the option of basing the whole exhibition on this theme for which I offered a minimum of 20 new paintings”

The exhibition will be open Tuesday-Saturday 11am-3pm. Free entry.
