Our education room can seat c.35 people for presentations and is equipped with the necessary IT infrastructure to support conference calls. We also regularly hire out this space to community groups and are proud to support community activities at discounted rates to local groups. Tables and chairs are all provided, and refreshments can be arranged in our tea room. (Room hire £15 per hour or £60 10am-3.30pm).

Our reading room, archive rooms and education room can be hired together by study groups, colleges and schools who wish to introduce their pupils to research based on primary sources.

Our museum is also very popular with groups undertaking ghost hunts and paranormal investigations. We are able to open until 11pm and all areas of the museum are accessible.
